Product Care

It’s best to treat our products just like any other valued piece of art.  When choosing the perfect indoor hanging spot, we recommend placing it where it will not be subject to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Some sunlight is ok as we produce our products using high quality UV stable inks, archival materials and additional UV coatings, however over exposure to sunlight can cause discoloration and damage over time.

Recommended Cleaning Products
Microfiber Cloth:  Craftics Microfiber Smooth Blue Suede Towel
Picture Frame Glass + Plexiglass Cleaner:  Sprayway Glass Cleaner (ammonia free)

Canvas Prints
Your stretched canvas prints may pick up dust over time. You can gently wipe the dust off with a clean, soft microfiber cloth or feather duster. If your canvas is located in a heavily trafficked area, it may pick up a little more dirt/dust than usual. You can clean the canvas by lightly dampening a clean soft cloth with water and gently wiping the surface and sides of the canvas print. Apply minimal pressure on the surface when wiping or storing your canvas. In addition, it’s best to avoid hanging your canvas in extreme temperatures and humidity.

Framed Prints
To remove dust gently wipe your framed print off with a clean, soft microfiber cloth or feather duster. To remove dirt, finger prints or other debris, first dust off your plexiglass to avoid rubbing in grit that may be present on your print. Then, using plastic cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth, gently wipe the surface with the dampened side of the cloth. Use the dry side of the cloth lightly wipe off the cleaner. Never use glass cleaner or products with ammonia as they can fog and potentially damage the acrylic.

Wood & Aluminum Prints
If your wood & aluminum artwork picks up dust over time you can gently wipe the dust off with a clean, soft microfiber cloth or feather duster.  To remove dirt, finger prints or other debris, use a damp microfiber cloth. We recommend water to dampen your microfiber cloth. If needed add a very small amount of mild soap. To avoid potential surface stains or scratches do not clean with abrasive chemicals, pads or oils.
